Your generosity makes it possible for Plowshares to care for the hungry, the homeless and the home bound seniors we serve. Almost all of our income consists of cash or in-kind donations from caring people who want to help us help the less fortunate. This requires less paperwork and staff time compared to other funding sources, which allows us to spend each dollar most efficiently where it is most needed.
For your convenience, there are several ways to make donations. All donations, large and small, are much appreciated, and all are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Donations may be made in honor of a loved one’s special occasion, or in their memory. After completing your cash donation, you will have the opportunity to give us the name of the person(s) to be honored, and an address where we can send a card notifying them or their family of your donation.
