Who we are…
Plowshares is a community-funded nonprofit organization that has been providing hot nutritious meals and resources to those in need in inland Mendocino County since 1983. Plowshares is located in Ukiah, California. Ukiah is about two hours north of San Francisco on U.S. Highway 101 and is the county seat for Mendocino County. Plowshares is supported by Mendocino County’s rich culture of volunteerism and philanthropy. Plowshares relies on this support to operate a Community Dining Room, Meals-on-Wheels Program, and serve as a hub for connection to community resources.
